Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Handle payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple entities
- Conduct month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audits and tax season
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record in managing full-month closes and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Michigan tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with minimal supervision
