Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Manage bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Implement and maintain efficient bookkeeping systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proven track record of maintaining accurate financial records
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- QuickBooks certification highly desirable
