As we expand our portfolio, we need an experienced bookkeeper to manage client accounts, ensure compliance, and drive financial excellence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15+ clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for client workflows
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly audits and tax seasons
- Provide financial insights to clients through monthly analysis reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain financial concepts clearly
- QuickBooks Online certification or equivalent software expertise
