Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex multi-currency general ledgers with 100% accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis reports
- Lead VAT returns and compliance submissions to HMRC
- Manage payroll processing for 100+ employees using Sage 50
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in senior bookkeeping role
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional certification
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage 50
- Expert knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC compliance
- Proven experience with multi-currency transactions and reconciliations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex financial discrepancies
