Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with local Washington tax regulations.
- Assist external auditors with the required documentation and inquiries.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
