Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Process payroll for clients and employees, ensuring tax filings and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and financial audits.
  • Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain accurate digital records.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software.
