Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and advanced accounting software
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and complex general ledger transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely payment processing
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax preparation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in a corporate or firm setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly desirable
