Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during compliance cycles
- Implement and optimize financial controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain organized digital financial archives with version control
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven track record of managing $1M+ in monthly transactions
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and tax preparation workflows
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills for identifying financial trends and anomalies
