We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team in San Francisco. Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.

  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and intercompany accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
  • Process payroll and ensure all tax filings (federal, state, and local) are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with annual audits and tax preparation by providing requested documentation and schedules.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent errors.
  • Collaborate with external accountants and tax advisors as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional certification such as CPA or CMA).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting workflows.
