Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
- Prepare and file various tax returns and ensure timely payment of taxes.
- Perform variance analysis and provide financial reporting to management to support decision-making.
- Assist with external audits and coordinate with auditors as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
