Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledgers with 100% accuracy
- Prepare month-end financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Implement QuickBooks cloud solutions for 20+ client portfolios
- Coordinate annual audits and support IRS inquiries
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven track record in multi-state compliance
- Experience with construction or manufacturing accounting
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation required
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
