Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and process payroll for diverse client portfolios
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Assist with tax preparation and year-end closing processes
- Implement and improve bookkeeping systems for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with CPAs and financial advisors during audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent professional certification (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP principles and Florida tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills for client relationship management
- Detail-oriented approach with zero tolerance for errors
