Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely vendor payments
- Process payroll accurately and maintain compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with tax preparation and documentation for CPA review
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data security
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of full-time bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and IRS regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation preferred
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
