Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and Xero platforms
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheets for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for SMB clients
- Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights to clients
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly and annual reporting
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage 15+ client portfolios simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
