Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ client accounts using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios
- Process payroll and tax filings for multi-state operations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable with strict aging protocols
- Implement internal controls for SOX compliance
- Collaborate with CPA firms for year-end audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance (FL, NY, CA)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Experience with construction or real estate accounting a plus
