Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and monthly reconciliations for 20+ client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with strict adherence to GAAP standards
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for multi-state operations
- Implement and optimize accounting software solutions (QuickBooks Online/Xero)
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial forecasting and budget analysis
- Lead month-end closing procedures with zero material discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred
- Proven track record with multi-state payroll and sales tax compliance
- Experience with SaaS/tech industry accounting practices
- Exceptional attention to detail with error rates <0.5%
- Ability to manage high-volume transactions during month-end close
