Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including profit and loss reports and balance sheets.
- Process payroll and ensure all payroll tax filings are completed timely and accurately.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Perform monthly close procedures and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients professionally.
