Responsibilities

  • Manage the Full Accounting Cycle: Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports for our clients.
  • Software Management: Utilize QuickBooks Online and/or Xero to maintain up-to-date financial records and generate reports as requested.
  • Payroll Support: Process payroll and assist with year-end tax document preparation (W2s, 1099s).
  • Expense Tracking: Organize and categorize expense reports, ensuring all receipts are filed and documented correctly.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
