Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized Bookkeeper to oversee our financial operations in London. In this role, you will ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with UK tax regulations. If you are an expert in financial software and possess a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping duties, including sales and purchase ledgers.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns on a quarterly basis.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Process invoices, expenses, and employee reimbursements.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and assist in audits.
Qualifications
- Level 3 AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience working as a Bookkeeper in the UK.
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and HMRC requirements.
- Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
