What You Will Do:
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial reporting.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with high efficiency.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare and present financial statements to management.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and audits.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process for multiple clients or departments.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and send invoices, and track payments received.
- Maintain an organized filing system for both digital and physical documents.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data promptly.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
