Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.9% accuracy and timely submission
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll accounts monthly
- Assist with sales tax filings and quarterly payroll tax preparation
- Implement accounting controls and process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with tax professionals during year-end audits and tax seasons
Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Experience with multi-state sales tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
