Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely payments
- Process payroll accurately and maintain compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Support annual audits and tax preparation processes
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for client/stakeholder interactions
