Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledgers, ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee full-cycle accounts payable/receivable with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L reports, and variance analysis
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks Enterprise, SAP)
- Lead internal audits and support external financial reviews
- Develop financial controls and process improvements
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + 5+ years progressive bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks & MS Excel proficiency (VBA, macros)
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Expertise in multi-entity consolidation and intercompany reconciliations
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong project management abilities with deadline-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
