Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and present monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports to management.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are recorded accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow management and budget forecasting.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
