Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes, bank reconciliations, and payroll coordination
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness
- Collaborate with CFOs on cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial strategy
- Maintain digital filing systems with 100% audit trail integrity
- Train junior bookkeepers on standardized accounting procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel (VBA/macros)
- Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation required
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax filings and sales tax compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail (0.1% error tolerance)
- Experience in public accounting or serving professional services firms
- Strong written/verbal communication for client-facing reporting
