Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage daily invoicing, process vendor payments, and ensure accurate billing to clients.
- Bank Reconciliation: Conduct monthly reconciliations for multiple bank accounts to identify discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
- Payroll Administration: Assist in the processing of payroll, ensuring tax withholdings and garnishments are calculated correctly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP and local regulations; assist with annual audits as needed.
- General Ledger: Maintain and update the general ledger system with high precision.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors and manage high volumes of data with 100% accuracy.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
