Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Process payroll for multiple clients accurately and on time.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and tax preparations.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Pro, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Associateās or Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
