Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will include:
- Managing daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Preparing and posting journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintaining and updating the general ledger system.
- Processing payroll and managing employee expense reports.
- Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
