Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll transactions monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor relationships
- Handle sales tax filings and quarterly payroll tax preparations
- Implement internal controls and process improvements for financial workflows
- Collaborate with tax professionals during annual audits and tax seasons
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in public accounting or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Expertise in GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state payroll and sales tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
