Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor relationships
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple clients
- Implement and maintain accounting systems (QuickBooks/Xero) for optimal efficiency
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to GAAP standards
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with direct hire roles
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Xero and MS Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
