Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and timely.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and adjusting entries.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and filing systems for compliance and audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
