Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for all employees in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain and update the general ledger and fixed asset schedules.
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns as required.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and budgeting support.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with ADP Payroll or similar payroll systems.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (AAT, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
