Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Process payroll and sales tax filings quarterly
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems
- Conduct internal control audits for client portfolios
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial strategy discussions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Proven experience with sales tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong communication skills for client advisory
