Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple clients
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping workflows using QuickBooks Online
- Conduct month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax preparation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and payroll tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong problem-solving skills and deadline-driven work ethic
