Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily bookkeeping operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
