Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity QuickBooks Online accounts with 100% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll for 15-20 clients using Gusto platform
- Coordinate with tax preparers for quarterly filings and year-end documentation
- Implement internal controls and process improvements for 5+ clients
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices and software utilization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven experience managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills for client relationship management
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation required
