Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring all timesheets and deductions are calculated correctly.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing requirements for clients.
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced team environment.
