Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and monthly financial close processes
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for 15+ small business clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Process complex payroll and sales tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Implement QuickBooks Online customizations for specialized client needs
- Lead month-end closing meetings with client finance teams
- Develop financial reporting dashboards for strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP and PivotTable expertise
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and North Carolina tax regulations
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% reconciliation accuracy
