Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with NC state regulations
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation documentation
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks certification
- Proven expertise in GAAP principles and NC tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Associates degree in Accounting or related field required
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany reconciliations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
