Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and complex balance sheet accounts
- Process payroll, sales tax filings, and year-end adjustments
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems for clients
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audit processes
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Experience with multi-client accounting software (e.g., Xero, FreshBooks)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- CPA certification preferred
- Proven experience handling high-volume transactions
