Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients across various industries
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and complex intercompany transactions
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems for client efficiency
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season and audits
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Texas sales tax filing experience and knowledge of GAAP standards
- Proven track record of reducing month-end close time by 30%+
- Advanced problem-solving skills for reconciling discrepancies
- Strong communication abilities for client relationship management
