Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes ensuring timely payments and collections
- Process payroll accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with annual tax preparation and audit documentation
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, CPB) preferred
