Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and complex payroll transactions
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly and annual audits
- Optimize accounting workflows using automation tools like Bill.com
- Train junior staff on accounting software and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expertise in month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance and payroll processing
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transaction processing
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Experience with forensic accounting and fraud detection
