Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable with 100% accuracy
- Process payroll and manage tax filings for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for client operations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Lead month-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Collaborate with CPAs on audit preparation and documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in professional services
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting workflows
- Expert knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
