Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-company general ledgers with precision
- Oversee full-cycle accounts payable/receivable for 15+ clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for client workflows
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Provide strategic financial insights to business owners
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Strong client communication and presentation skills
- Experience in public accounting or CPA firm environment
