Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable with timely follow-ups
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation requirements
- Implement and improve bookkeeping procedures for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with senior management on financial analysis and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS compliance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certification (e.g., CPB, AIPB) preferred
- Experience with construction or service industry accounting a plus
