Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 10-15 portfolio clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts with zero tolerance for discrepancies
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and implement efficient collection strategies
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation documentation
- Maintain organized digital filing systems with strict data security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with portfolio management
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of reconciling complex multi-entity accounts
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and Oregon state tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
