Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with detailed variance analysis
- Maintain and reconcile QuickBooks Online with supporting documentation
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audits and tax season
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expertise in multi-entity accounting and complex reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Colorado tax regulations
