Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity accounting systems with 100% accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online enterprise solutions
- Manage sales tax filings and compliance across Texas districts
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audits and tax season
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven track record of multi-entity reconciliation
- Texas sales tax compliance certification
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
