Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ high-net-worth clients and small businesses
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation processes
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Enterprise systems for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Develop financial reports for strategic decision-making
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting
- Expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong attention to detail with zero-tolerance for errors
- Ability to manage confidential financial data discreetly
- Experience with payroll processing and sales tax filings
